High volume only works when ownership is clear.
The client calendars were created by SEO strategists. My responsibility began where strategy met production: making sure work was assigned when due, writers had the right instructions, drafts came back on time and submitted work was ready for senior sign-off.
The articles were typically 2,500+ words, so a normal week meant tens of thousands of words moving through the editorial pipeline.
Assignment, follow-up, editing and QA.
- Assigned work from strategist-created calendars across 6+ writers.
- Tracked deadlines and followed up on late or incomplete assignments.
- Edited long-form B2B and SEO content for structure, clarity, specificity and brand fit.
- Requested rewrites or redirected drafts when work did not meet the brief.
- Worked with SEO, account management, operations and senior management.
- Managed Embarque’s in-house content calendar separately, using performance and search insights to inform planning.
The assignment tracker.
This sanitized tracker shows the operational layer: content format, topic or keyword, word count, supporting templates, editorial notes, writer assignments and dates.
The work did not stop at tracking.
I also edited product, landing-page and SEO copy. The examples below are cropped and sanitized to show the level of intervention without exposing internal client information.
